Art & Visual Culture

Seeing information through
an artist's eye.

Kristin's Studio Art background shapes how she observes, interprets, organizes, and communicates ideas.

ART

Creative training strengthens professional thinking.

Before earning her MLIS, Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from San Francisco State University. Her art education developed skills in visual literacy, composition, observation, creative problem-solving, and communicating ideas through visual form.

That foundation continues to influence how she approaches information, spaces, collections, and the ways people interact with cultural materials.
